Laser cartridges are complex products combining mechanical, electronic and optical systems. The complexity of cartridges requires a strict and rigorous process.
On reception, cartridges are sorted into two categories: the useable ones enter the re-manufacturing process, the non-useable ones are dismantled and their material recycled. At CMB, no waste goes to landfill.
Reusable cartridges are dismantled in order to replace the wear components and extract the residual toner in the cartridges.
The dismantled parts are pressure cleaned, the gears brushed and the remaining toner in the “bin” sucked out.
So that our cartridges are as close as possible to OEM products, all worn or damaged parts are replaced (OPC, chip, doctor blade, scraper, etc.).
All the parts are carefully assembled before receiving a cosmetic operation (shell polishing, product identification label and tracking barcode).
Our cartridges are protected in an airbag and carefully wrapped before sending to the distribution network.
